Reason is - If I play 3d bluray from my Panasonic player, i don't get any cross-talk. But same iso played through Micca does have cross-talk. I am not sure whether this is caused by Micca's changing of the frame rate, but the cross-talk is definitely there and does not go away no matter what depth adjustment i do.
crosstalk has nothing to do with 23,976
both micca ep600 / ep950 or med1000x3d has more crosstalk or ghosting than any 200$ blu-ray player
and i have a micca ep950, a med1000x3d and a panasonic bdt 220 , and a samsung bd-d5500 blu-ray players.
i found this issue with crosstalk watching "a turtle tale 3D " and the subtitles in my epson tw6000 (under repair now ) has loads of ghosting in subtitles.
i compare all 4 devices under same condictions and this issue was lot worse in micca and 1000x3d, and lot less ghosting in panasonic or samsung players
i still havent got my epson back from repair , to check if this 23,976 isnt a gimmick from mede8er, i already post in another topic to someone with a med1000x3d and a projector to check whats the fps that shows up in projector info.
because a user in mede8er forums with a espon tw6000 already mention in 3D that is med1000x3d displays 23,99hz, the same frame rate thats shows in my micca 23,99hz and tw6000 before went under repair.
i hope these clears that does media players are no better than a cheap blu-ray player in PQ ,sharpening, crosstalk , 3D, you pay what you get for...end of story
regarding the 23,976 in med1000x3d , i would not be so sure about it until is proved.... if micca can display 23,98 3D in info, why med8er can't display. 23,976 3D in same info..............yes i allways can blame the epson that displays 23,976 in my panasonic and samsung players.Edited by canton160 - 9/20/12 at 12:21pm
