Thanks, added to first post. iboum, would you mind adding items from our list at Futeko? For example, playlist select feature needed, etc. that aren't listed there.

Please let me know as soon as your consider It has enough quote of information to be delivered all together to Himedia.

So we make things with more order and hopefully it will bring us better and faster results ! ! !

Or if not to that, consolidate all news in a post or a PM and I'll copy and paste it to himedia

Leo, I think there's enough in my first post (under bugs) to copy/paste and send to HiMedia now, along with the list at Futeko iboum linked to. Thanks.

In file manager, it would be nice if clicking play on a music folder would play all songs. Also, when screen saver comes on, the current song is not shown. Not bugs but things that were nice to have with Netgear ntv550 for us music lovers.

1. 24P is not working for MKV files, while watching a movie all movies are BR converted using pavtube byte copy if you hit info the displayed FPS is 1.00 so the 24P will not light up. Now it works fine for ISO movies

2. Screen saver does not work when watching a movie and you pause. It does work if your at the home screen.

3. Playback rough in some instances like watching bzad teacher. I would get a stutter every so often and a couple of times I just lost sound completely, cycling through the audio would bring it back.

4. Resume from where I started does not work for MKV I think it does for ISO. But sometimes it will start and playback will be real jumpy!

Well 24P works for me as it was the software that I was using not displaying the correct FPS, so scratch that issue!

I'm guessing 23.976 is working as well since I don't notice any frame drops. Had watched about 15 minutes of '3:10 to Yuma', a 1:1 BD rip to MKV.
Just to re-iterate
My VP reports 23.98 for 2D (correct), 24.00 for 3D (incorrect). I have not noticed any frame drops in 3D, but I have not spent a whole lot of time testing so far.

Thanks, I'll add that to bugs list.

I will be picking up Harry Potter 3D on Friday, so that one I will probably try to watch the entire way through on the HiMedia, see how it manages

Me as well, both part 1 and 2 HP exclusives at Best Buy. I've read these aren't the best 3D conversions, but I've actually even found 'Thor' and other conversions pretty damn good.

I thought HP7 Part 2 was filmed in 3D (maybe I am just assuming based on how great it looked in Imax 3D)

I also just received Lion King and the Toy Story Trilogy in 3D BR as well.

Sorry but wrong assumption. It's a 2D to 3D convert.

Yeah, just reading around and saw the same thing posted elsewhere to confirm it was 2D to 3D conversion

I don't recall receiving an invoice when the player arrived. Who will supply warranty service should the HD900B need it?
Questions to HD900B owners:
1) What indicator lights are available? (Wifi? ethernet? usb? 1080p? 720p? etc.)
2) Does the LED display show the current time at any point?
3) Are there play/pause indicator lights?
4) Does it support streaming of internet radio/tv channels via MMS link?
5) Can someone provide an image of the remote?

Thanks

1) look for player's IP Address on SETUP / NETWORK/ NETWORK INFO
2) In SETUP NETWORK select / Bittorent > ON
3) You'll find this IP Adress and get the Bittorent interface by searching it through a browser (which must be connected to the network) There you can select many torrents and manage their settings

Apparently, other HiMedia players were updated to support YAMJ, so if same could be done with HD900B, that would be great.

Is this better then what xtreamer prodigy has?
Just got this player. For some reason, the picture becomes extremely dark when I plug it into my Mitsubishi 3D adapter. The picture quality looks fine when connecting directly to my TV (which is just 3D-ready, not native 3D).

I have used the Popcorn Hour PCH-200 on the 3D adapter without the darkening of picture effects.

Now it's back to the PCH-200 to watch 3D materials.

Anyone else with the same issue?

Got my player today. Comes with HDMI, analog and sata cables but no USB3.0 cable. I don't yet have a drive to put inside of it but I have a 2TB Samsung Story external HDD which I attached to one of the USB ports. Now bear in mind the unit came with the 22 firmware and I have yet to upgrade but the playback of anything with a higher bitrate than a 720p mkv is horrendously bad, extremely bad stuttering with bluray ISO and bluray folder content. I'm not sure if it's the external drive, it works perfectly fine on my other media player, a TViX M-6500A, so I'm downloading the latest firmware 1.0.0.26. Fingers crossed but not a great start.............

*edit*
there's definitely an issue with the Samsung Story drive, I upgraded to 26 FW and the issue still persists. This needs to be fixed. I find it amazing that a 3 year old player like my TViX can play stuff off this drive perfectly yet this player can't even handle 1080p MKV files played from it let alone BD ISO. It's pretty poor in fact.
I tried an IDE drive which I fitted inside a generic external HDD case and that works fine, no problem.

Anyway, aside from that issue, and it is a major one, BD ISO's seem to play perfectly albeit with no menus of course. I've only played a few and have yet to try 3DBD as I don't have my new ae7000 projector yet.

The network feature is easy to setup though what you are able to play is dependent on your network setup, a wireless N setup should play fairly high bitrate files while a wireless B/G will play a fair bit of 720p and of course all divx/avi files.
Youtube app worked well, no issues there. I couldn't seem to get the cursor working on the browser, maybe it requires a USB mouse?

I already done above step but when type ip address in my pc browser it will prompt out internal server error. I tried to ping the ip also failed. Is it any solution on this problem.

Fyi ..i'm using firmware 1.0.0.26 and i can streaming movie from my pc to this player without any problem.

Who knows? The Prodigy only just started getting into users hands so we haven't seen any feedback yet. It is supposed to have a built in jukebox which would definitely be a plus over the HiMedia, but until the reviews get out there really is no way to know if it is the real deal

I thought all the xtreamer units with FW 3.0 had the jukebox feature. That's what I wascasking about, if yamjj looked and operated better then what xtreamer uses

Not sure if FW 3.0 has gone out to all the Xtreamers yet. It wasn't the last time I checked a few weeks ago
