Leo - hi, do you know when the 900C is available? I believe futeko site owner said it was due around 11/25 or so. I have the 900b, but need the 900c as well for an older HDMI 1.3 receiver. I like the idea of the split video / audio, great feature.

please let me know if you are going to sell this model as well.

thanks!

Couple questions:

(a) differences between the 900b and the 900c? (I just ordered one, but I suspect it will get fulfilled with the 900b, not sure, but may get a 2nd unit in any event)

(b) how large an internal hard drive will the 900b/c take? (2tb? 3tb?)

Thanks

EDIT: is this accurate?

Hi!
Does anyone know if is it possible to select external subtitle when playing ISO BD?

Thanks!

Hi!

I have an Onkyo 1.3 receiver and I'm interested to know why 900C is good for it. Can you explain this, please?

Thanks a lot!

I can't really speak for Zombie, but I can describe one reason the "C" would be better if you have a receiver with HDMI 1.3.

The HD900 series has HDMI 1.4, and supports full 3D video. Lets say you have a TV with HDMI 1.4 as well. A receiver with HDMI 1.3 would not pass HDMI 1.4 through to the TV. So with the two HDMI outputs on the HD900C, you could run one directly to the TV for the video, while running the other to the receiver for the audio.

Where I can see full specification? At http://www.iboum.com/pr/him900c.php doesn't have this information. It says only one HDMI.

I do not think the "C" version is available yet. The main benefit it has is 2 HDMI ports that can be independently configured to provide a mixture of audio and video output modes.

It's actually quite clever.

Update to the latest firmware, go into settings menu and clear the media library database. Try this and see if it fixes your issue.
Its already on the latest 1.0.0.26 and ive tried clearing the libary but still no luck...maybe its faulty :-(

but tell you what did work, taking the harddrive out then clearing the libary then putting the harddrive back in and turn it on it asked to scan!

but thanks for your help

I was going to wait until it sold on Amazon, but I could not wait and might as well support Leo and this thread.

Not to mention I was about to die of old age waiting for the X-Streamer Prodigy!(indeed, full 3D is important to me)

Leo - are you going to carry the 900C? I heard it might be released by Himedia around this time. Will you sell this in the US when it's released?

Thinking of picking up on of these in a couple of months.

Can you let me know what filesystem(s) this streamer can read/write?

Just bought an external drive as I'm running out of room on my NAS. Plan on putting some content on this and then taking the HDD out of its case and put it in the streamer. Want to get the filesystem right as won't have room to move the content off the HDD and repartition.

Thanks.

Can the 900C send video to both (I want to connect 1 to my preamp/projector w/audio and 1 to a monitor no/audio)? If so can it send video to both at once (with HDPC) or must it be switch? If so how is the switching done (software in a menu or hardware (remote)?

I've created a bunch of BD ISO files using DVDFab over the past few days in anticipation of receiving the unit. I've also ordered a 2TB HD which I understand is the largest size supported by the 900B. What's the recommended file system to be used to format the drive for internal use?
Thanks!

The largest size is a 3tb HDD, also I use Fab to make MKV, files seem smaller and I only do movie only. I'm not interested in BD lite or 1.0 and it seems there are still a few issues with this always
