Sony VPL-HW55ES. The family is really having fun with this wink.gif I hooked up my HTPC tonight and am looking forward to watching some football this weekend!

2 questions:
1) Is your center channel a few feet below ear level? Is it aiming up at the audience or are u waiting for a stand?
2) Where did you end up placing your subwoofer? One side of the couch I assume?

Sorry for not responding sooner, I've been distracted with movies and work smile.gif

I'm waiting on a stand. For now I stuck a box under the center channel and angled it up at the listening position. My plans are to get a different center channel so I haven't put much effort into this one.

Correct, the sub is behind the couch. I moved it around a bit and found that location to sound the best.

Very nice build! Beyond the Sony projector, what other gear do you have?

Screen: Carada 114" BW
Receiver: Onkyo TX-NR1008 9.2 ch
Power conditioner: Belkin PureAV PF60
Bluray: For now I'm using our upstairs Panasonic DMP-BDT220 until I get my HTPC upgraded. Right now I have a single core AMD from about 5 or so years ago and it's not cutting it.
Fronts: Klipsch Chorus. I picked these up for $50 and was planning on selling them until I hooked them up and heard them smile.gif
Center: Harman Kardon HKC...replacing when I can decide what to get.
IR repeater: Niles MSU250
