My Hauppauge WinTV-DCR 2650 CableCard receiver is installed and working with Windows Media Center, except I don't get most channels. The HD channels I am getting are the big networks, ESPN and TNT.
System:
eMachines EL1850
Windows 7 Home Premium
Intel Celeron E3400
2 GB Ram
NVIDIA GeForce GT 520 video card
cable TV is into a Cisco STA1520 tuning adjuster, then into the Hauppauge receiver.
Cable provider is Cox in Vienna, VA. Just had a technician by, but there isn't much he can do. All channels are working on a Cox-provided HD receiver box.
One thing I heard is that Hauppauge may have special patches they provide that aren't available on their website?
Any further thoughts on how to get my channels working? Any further diagnostic info you need?
