Love the Pinnochio storyline and thought the Regina/Charming dinner date was interesting. I'm slowly coming to the opinion that real world Regina is far more attractive than Emma. I'm a sucker for dark and mysterious types though. Blonde is a bit overrated.

We've learned the alternate identity of just about every major character except Henry and Emma. I'm sticking with my original guess that Emma's fairytale character is Goldilocks. It makes the most sense, especially if Emma and Snow get 3 rather hairy neighbors across the hall.

Snow White is Goldilocks' mother?!

I don't think that Emma or Henry spent any time in fairytale Land.

You are correct... Neither Emma nor Henry are fairytale characters, although... technically Emma was born in fairytale land... she just didn't stay there long enough to establish herself as a character

Just to be clear, you guys are invoking a Clintonian-esque defense regarding Emma. (I.e. Technically, I didn't inhale) Emma was born in fairytale land as the daughter of Snow & Charming. She's gotta be a character. And her blonde hair seems to be growing by the episode. It's almost as if Jennifer Morrison is a blatant advertisement for Pantene! I can't believe we haven't had a shower scene with a strategically placed ad for shampoo.

Henry never stepped foot in fariytale world so mabey he's mortal although there's a 5% possibility Henry is actually Neo.

Anybody notice the Blue Fairy's clear stipper heels? The wife and I got a kick out of that.

Emma's character would need to be a very short story. She was born, cried a little, moved to our world, cried a lot. The end.
Henry's, even shorter. He will be born in another land where there is no magic. The end.

I sure noticed the Blue Fairy's stipper top. It looked like a good sneeze would give us a heck of a show.

Awesome episode, the series has really been on a roll over the last few months.

Rumple's recent performances on Once make me regret the cancellation of Stargate Universe even more. Robert Carlyle kills the role of deceptive ally, borderline villian.

But then who would play Rump?

I too miss SGU.

Yes... but she doesn't have to be any particular character! That's where you are over-reaching.

The flashbacks have introduced several new characters to fairytale land that have no traditional backstory. The lady supposed to marry Prince Charming, the guy she really loved.. heck even the fact that Prince Charming isn't really the original Charming... just his twin!

The point is... Henry hasn't set foot in fairytale land, so he isn't anybody. Emma was barely born before she was whisked away... so she can't be any known character either.

I agree. Though I think if she was to be a known character, it would be a new version of Rose Red.

Definitely not Goldilocks.

This really was a good episode. Lived up to the show's potential.

Um... I'd be ok with a shower scene

Poor little Pinocchio, half scared out of his wits by that Oceanic Flight 815 cruising over his head upon jumping out of the magic wardrobe tree in Storybrooke...

Yeah, way more 8:15 and 108's in this episode along with the airliner..

I wonder where's Emma going with Henry? can the Queen go outside Storybrook?

Leaving in the middle of the night means there's only 2 options... IHOP or Waffle House. I going with IHOP since they're in Maine. I do some of my best scheming over a Colorado omelette and a stack of strawberry pancakes.

Pass the pepper, please?

Yeah the Fairy was hot, too bad there wasn't a close up shot to see her "de-tails"

Her Dress seemed also short..

Oceanic is the official airline of Hollywood. It's been used quite a few times over the years as a stand-in for real airlines when something bad happens to the plane.

Too bad the MPAA heads weren't on one when it crashed in one of their movies.
Then we could have our hands untied.

How did "fighting for your son" turn into "abducting him in the middle of the night"? Not to mention abandoning a job as an elected official.

And just when you thought Charming couldn't get any worse, he goes and becomes best friends with the woman who framed his true love for murder.

I'm still loving the fairytale land half of the story, but I'm tired of Storeybrook.

Highly doubtful since she doesn't have control of any magic of her own. Looks like Emma and Pinno. can because they came to this world through the wardrobe and not from the curse. The curse is keeping all of them there, Emma and Pinno. are free to go because they are outside the curses influence.

I have no friggin' idea as to why Once Upon a Time is getting the Blu-ray treatment while no other show is.

Here is the info at TV Shows on DVD

The other shows announced for release were Body of Proof, Castle, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice and Revenge.

Stupid thing is that I think that Revenge has higher ratings than Once Upon a Time. Obviously not the right demographic for them to try and sell Blu-rays.

Of the seven shows announced for release, four of them I watch. Of those four, only one will get my money, Once Upon a Time. No Blu-ray, no sale.

Maybe they figured out that it's genre shows that sell the best on Blu-ray, because they have the most rewatchability and audiences that like to obsessively go over them with a fine-toothed comb.
Good point. That could very well be the case.

It's unlikely I'd buy the BD .. however, it hopefully will have some excellent PQ / SQ ..

Great episode tonight. Can't wait until the Season Finale next week.

Yep, that it was.

I just do not trust Mr Gold

I thought the episode was ok. A lot of characters are acting weird and the situation was somewhat forced. However, it is a good set up.

The moment Regina started baking I knew where this was heading.

I haven't decided if I would rather get arrested or serve under the mayor. Or both.
