Werewolf Ruby Red episode coming this Sunday...

Laughed so much at the lame CGI from last episode.. they should hire Pixar guys..

It was on par with the early stuff the in-house team came up with on BSG when they stopped using an outside vendor for the CGI. I remember 'floating Cylon Centurions' who's feet never touched the ground and one dead one who was defying gravity by floating a few inches horizontally above the surface...

You know, the line around the town makes a wonderful exile tactic. Take the troublemakers, force them over the line, problem solved.

Why do I still watch this thing?

I'm beginning to wonder about that for me too .. last night, in the Storyville scene where the townsfolk took up blazing torches and yard implements .. ?? What .. ??

Well I was watching it for Regina but they aren't really using her much yet this year.

I'm completely lost with this. I don't ever remember them leaving Storybook. It was bad enough juimping between the past and present, but this is worse.

Ruby: "I'm not a killer!" right after she kills her mother.

Not only that, but the rod driven thru Mom's chest was pretty knarly .. yet no blood, or very little ..

And the wolf pack scenes were straight out of Twilight ..

Was it me or is the writing getting sloppier? How did he obtain the hat to begin with?

Regina gave him the hat in a previous episode.

Ruby's Werewolf mom looked so familiar. Yet I just can't place her?

I said that too! This ep really was bad. King George's frame job was pathetic. Memo to self, don't leave incriminating items in my trunk.
And how easy was it to get a mob. There was an actual pitchfork!!!! That was hilarious.

David should just look at the guy and tell him to get with the times and that nobody cares about kings anymore. I would think that the last 28 years of living a modern life would knock a lot of the fairy tale ethics away.

Again special effects dept guys either are bad or have no budget at all, rare from Disney IMO...

I guess is magic that you can turn to a full naked werewolf and come back fully clothed.. but again it's Disney, they aren't showing the "goods"

For a moment I was concerned Prince Charming was as big a Ruby fan as I am. He almost got too close to her at one point and I wouldn't have blamed him one bit.

For that kind of stuff happen we have to imagine a future where HBO picks up Fables.

It's not just Disney. Bruce Banner's expando pants keep the Hulk from being naked. It's perfectly understandable, though, why you would complain about not seeing Meghan Ory in all her glory instead of the Hulk.

Question for those that watched closer then I did last season. Was Storybrook always on the ocean? For some reason, last season, I thought it was inland from Boston.

Near the coast. Remember the storm last season where they had to find Henry? He was buried under some debris when he went to save the book.

Yeah and it was on a beach... I think they have been very few beach sightings this 2 seasons..

The intriguing thing here is how they use that bean thingy to get to this world

Since it's a bean, maybe it involves rear propulsion....

The wife and I spent the last month or so - up until last night watchine season 1 and then getting current on season 2. So far this season is kinda all over the place - seems like they don't know what to do with Regina....and all the dresses have gotten much more conservative! I also want to know how a rejuvinated bean managed to get not only two people, but a tall masted sailing ship through a portal!

I was kinda wondering how they managed to get a pirate ship down a beanstalk too.
