Four tables with all goals complete is still pretty good. I've only focused on completing one (Bride of Pinbot), but I'll try on the others eventually. So far my favs are Medieval Madness and Theater of Magic, but BoP has its own, simplified charm. Instead of doing ten random tasks like most tables, you master doing two or three things over and over, That's why I think it is a great beginner's table.Originally Posted by gixerking

so i am at 4 tables complete. currently i would have to say Theater of Magic is my fav. Medieval Madness is close on the heels though so its a toss up. i really would like to get into Cirque Voltaire but it "feels" weird. have you tried that one yet? Funhouse and Bride of Pinbot are both fun but theres not a lot going on there so it can get old. whats annoying about Funhouse is constantly hitting the ball into the wind tunnel.
Tales is good too, but i dont find myself playing it too much anymore

Tales is good too, but i dont find myself playing it too much anymoreLast night I went back to the Bride and tried to get the Backdoor Billion (which should've been a Wizard goal). It is tougher than I first thought. To get it, you don't just get a ten loop combo (ten in a row) like I first thought. You have to work up to the ten loop combo before you can earn it.
The right way to do it is, you have to achieve a four loop combo first, then it resets and you have to get a five loop combo, etc. So at minimum you have to complete at least 49 loops, broken up into longer and longer combos. Fortunately after you complete a combo it remains earned for the entire game (not just the current ball). I made it to the final ten loop combo challenge on my third ball after an hour or so and messed up. I'll get it this weekend (I hope).
I also tried Black Hole last night because it is the one that kicks my butt the most. I now understand its rules, but I can't even complete the basic goals yet. It's a weird table that I kinda like only because it is so hard to do well. Voltaire will be my next real attempt to dominate a table. I haven't even tried it yet (or Funhouse or Ripley's).
