Sorry if this is the wrong section. i bought a samsung LN40D550 (actually 551, costco model). the picture for movies is great ( regular dvds so far), but l notice alot of flickering on highlighted areas, fences, trees, bushes, railings, designs on people cloths stuff like that, l find it distracting.
For games (Xbox 360 with HDMI) what really bothers me is the colour tone changes when l move the camera, this has happend on every game to some degree. Example if l look at a brick wall the colours are the way l like them, then when l move the camera the wall (and most shadow areas) become darker while l am moving the camera, once l stop it all turns lighter again. I am not sure if this is because of the Auto dimming, I'm not sure, but that is very distracting.
I am thinking of taking it back because of this. My brothers 32 lcd doesn't have the colour tone change darker when moving the camera. Any opinions what help alot. thanks.
