However, the video shifts to the 2313, which is where you can see the logos. I incorrectly identified the logos on a 2313 instead of the 3313. Apologies for the confusion.

Thanks for the clarification.

I'm currently trying to decide between the 4311 or the 3313..
I'll be using a a pre pro only and XT32 is my main requirement for a 5.1 system, hence why I queried your comment about XT32 on that video clip.

If I were in the USA I'd just get the 4311... however I'm in Dublin, Ireland and cannot source 4311 for anything like the deals I see available in USA.

e.g
3313 retail price is 1299 ($1662)
4413 best price is 1499 ($1920)
- but only through a shop in the Netherlands that I've no prior experience/knowledge of..I'm hoping my Irish dealer can get close to that price. I've tried other UK/Europena sources but evryone's prices are higher.

If you go to:
http://usa.denon.com/US/Product/Page...3313CI(DenonNA)
it looks like Denon has put up the text for the 3313 web page. That text says MultEQ XT will be used on the 3313.

Hi sneill,

Have you tried Audio-Vision/ Germany?

Audio-Vision
Hans-Böckler-Str. 22
D- 47877 Willich – Münchheide II / Germany

For example they have the Denon AVR-3312 at Euro 829.- + shipping (Euro 29.- up to 31 kgs) = Euro 858.- to any EU country.

I think they are a reliable trader, I also bought my Denon from them last time and got it shipped to Budapest within a few days in mint condition.

Don't be surprised if they respond to your inquiry same day!

Darn looks like they took it down already. Maybe they are changing it (I can only hope). I think they will lose a lot of sales to Onkyo's 818 if their 3313 doesn't have xt32...

Were you able to sneak in there before it went off-line?

I suppose this needs to be added to the other thread soon too.

Just click on the URL below and edit the URL by replacing the "1913" with either "2113CI", or "2313CI", or "3313CI".

It is still there as I post this but the url in my previous post was wrong. (It did not include the last right parethesis.) Try this one:

I see it says, "Denon remote app for Android and Apple" on the 2313 page. Where can I get the android app other than the third party one I already have?

Should be out later this summer, likely same time Spotify firmware upgrade becomes available.
Perfect. I'll stay tuned.
Seems the pics aren't showing for those new models on Denon's website.. or is it the filters on my internet here at work?

This link is working for me....but once leaving the AVR-3313 page to go to main menu (AV receivers) I don't see it there. I don't think it's 100% "up" on website yet.
So based on this new AVR-3313CI page posted (partially) on Denon US website today, it definitely looks like NO XT32/sub EQ....it clearly states Audyssey MultEQ XT. There in no mention of
AM or FM HD Radio. Owner's Manual is not up yet for download.
There is mention of the "new" Denon Link HD. "This technology is designed to work with Denon's DBT-3313CI Universal Blu-ray/DVD/CD player." So it seems we have 2 new "transports"/ universal players coming...DBT-1713 (no DL HD) and DBT-3313(with DL HD).
This is pure speculation but I bet they release a new "flagship" universal player (DBT-4520?) that is "designed to work" with the AVR-4520....and I also have a feeling DL HD will not be backwards compatible with DL 3rd/4th. Hope I'm wrong...

Wait, is this only for the XX13's?
Well it appears that the 3313 will not have XT32. Thats too bad as the Onkyo 818 will have the advantage as far as Audyssey goes. It looks like there might be a sudden rush on 4311 sales.

Too bad I was hopping for an upgrade. Would of loved to of fixed my second sub that has a hum and set them both up with XT 32. The 4311 in Canada will not discount enough for me to pull the trigger.

Really not interested in the 818 with Onkyo overheating issues and I really like my 991. Those darn websites getting my hopes up.
Maybe next year.
Onkyo started having heat issues when the 806 replaced the 805, IIR. Last I heard, and this was a couple years ago, was because the 806 was lighter than the 805. My 2312 is lighter than the 889 (2309) it replaced. Do the newer Denon's have heat issues or am I out to lunch?

Maybe they're trying to keep the 4311 competitive with the circa $2K rung of the SC Elite ladder, with the 3313 being a middle ground between the 2313 and the 4311. The 4311's already got a following/cult status among audiophiles....as we well know...which makes it a 'better and more powerful' unit vs. the more "videophile" (thanks to 4K) 3313. And cheaper than a pre/pro from, say, Integra.

Since the 4520 isn't coming out until the fall, keeping the 4311 around until then would be to Denon's benefit so that the 3313 doesn't become the de facto "high end", which it would be if it offered XT32 IMO.

I hope the 4520's got something unexpected, because I can't see it being worth $500 to $800 more than the MSRP of the 4311 just because it's got 4K video, Audyssey LFC (presumably), and "Denon Link HD".

Of course, charging $500 more for a marginally incremental improvement isn't anything new...ask Pioneer

I was on the fence wating to see what was going to happen with the 3313CI. Decided to go with the 4311. crutchfield canada has it on sale (500 off).

I went with my local dealer instead, I little more $$$ but in case I have any issues I just take it back to them.
you guys are missing this portion that was previously discussed @ HDMI zone 2

"Enjoy Two Different HDMI Sources Simultaneously
The AVR-3313CI incorporates true multi-zone HDMI audio/video distribution with the inclusion of its HDMI matrix switching functionality. Equipped with three HDMI outputs (two parallel and one discrete), the AVR-3313CI allows for the connection of up to three different HDMI-equipped displays. The receiver can send two different HDMI feeds to two displays at the same time directly from the receiver, eliminating the need for costly external switches or remote control complexity"

Another reason I went with 4311. This sounds really good; but at the same time I have my reservations on how this will actually will work/perform.

With taxes still close to 2k. Maybe if it falls another $200.

Local is usually always better if the price is close. If your not happy or your unit is defective in any way, pack it up and receive a new one or a refund.

No, more likely, as is the case with the iphone app, the android app will go back to the XX11 series but have a few "XX13 only" unique features.

Based on that text, it will simply be a switch that can pass through a "discrete" HDMI source to another setup.

Cool. Thanks. Don't know if I need spotify (especially at $10/month) anyhow but the native Android App will be nice.
Anyone know if the 2312ci will get a firmware update to include spotify and Sirius? Not sure I want to wait for the 2313...

Sorry, but no .. both will only be offered on the XX13 models, however, you can still use the Spotify or SiriusXM smart phone apps to stream to the XX12 models.

Agreed. Destined to be a shelf-sitter. Thank God they did clean up the look

Yea it sound pretty good. For eg. if you drop a hdmi cable to the basement and use maybe an ATV or whatever and then power up zone 2 speakers via an optical and pipe them in would be pretty cool but it does sound like there might be a bit of a leaning curve not to mention the handshake issues that for sure some will have making it even harder when in another zone.
^^
With the HDMI Zone 2 Out, there's no longer a reason to connect the ATV with both HDMI and an optical cable, rather simply the single HDMI cable which will then pass the audio to the main zone and/or Zone 2.

Will the Hdmi pass audio to zone 2 speakers? In this scenario I think you would need either analog or opt/coax digital or another avr.

Another thought if you send it to an avr would you have a double repeater with double the chance of handshake issues or is this even possible.
