Samsung DLP

Thread Starter
I have a Samsung 61 in HLT6176Sx. I want to get it working in 3d to watch Blu Rays and play games? Is there anyway to get it working besides using the plug it into PC approach. I see that 3DC-100S and 3da-1 may work but these post were old. Any suggestions? Samsung isn't helpful at all when it comes to there customer service. They just told me sorry for the typo.

The 3DC-100S will work with your TV. You'll also need a 3d bluray player - since you mentioned games though, I'm assuming you have a PS3... which works great for all things 3D.

You can also save some money and buy a 3da-1 if you buy the right build date. There's a thread I started in the "3D Tech Talk" forum titled "3da-1 just quit working on my Samsung" or something. That'll cover resetting the 3da-1 to work with your TV.

Not sure why you would assume that? Xbox 360 does 3D gaming as well Gears of War 3, Halo Anniversary, Batman Arkham City, Crysis 2, etc etc.....

Because he mentioned Blurays... last I checked, HD-DVD wasn't coming out with a lot of 3D releases...

For Blu Ray 3d I have a Panasonic DMP BDT-350 player connected to my HLT6176SX and use True Depth DLP link glasses. Other models of Panasonic BD players may also output 3d in checkerboard which is what the Samsung wants.
