start here, there is an 800#. don't let the customer service rep tell you the lamp is 'out of warranty' because it's older than 90 days. JVC has a problem and needs to replace this lamp for you. If the CS gives you the company line, escalate to a manager and point them to this thread.
btw, I concede that it's quite valid to consider those who voted with more than 1 lamp failure as an individual FAIL. Therefore, we are looking at a solid 50/50 ratio from the folks who took the time to vote.
I get that this is far from perfect science, but alarming nonetheless and don't recall another projector series in 10 years on AVS with this kind of track record for failed lamps.

what a resolution.. replacing the cost of the lamp, so they were still stuck with a projector, that had ... bad lamps. what irony. Sharp should be have been forced to replace the cost of the unit.
