How to Update VP30 firmware now DVDO is with SimplayLabs

The VP30 wants an .abt file to function and so I've been trying to download the firmware. This involves sending a request from http://www.dvdo.com/support/softwaredownloads.aspx

They then send an email with a link to their download support site which leads me nowhere - no links I can find that help. Under the DVDO system you downloaded tera_term.exe and then the .abt file but SimplayLabs say to download "ConnectPlay" and then a .dfu file - something making no sense for an iScan. angry.gif But I cannot get past their first "support" page.

Anyone untangled the maze??

I don't see anything about the Connetplay download unless you're on the wrong tab. On the iScan VP tab you can find the VP30 zip file which includes the ABT file. That's all you need.

Thanks. You are right, I used the wrong tab and went down an incorrect path.
