Integrated Digital Amp with Wifi and USB?

Thread Starter
Looking for an integrated stereo amp with:

- Wifi/DLNA support
- USB input for connecting USB stick or harddrive
- must support 96/24 WAV/FLAC

Do not want an AVR.

What's out there that can do this, or do I need a 2 box soln?

I think the wifi might be the biggest roadblock in your list of demands

also, what's your rough budget? I cant imagine the ideal product being super affordable

Hello Brian,

I'm looking for the same solution. I believe you/we will end up buying the Integrated Amplifier + Extra gear in order to have the USB input, Wireless/DLNA....

this device only has an analog USB connection, aka the signal isn't fed through the Naim's internal dac. the front input doubles as a 3.5 toslink, and there are coax and optical inputs in the back, but no digital USB. this may or may not suffice for the OP.

The Onkyo TX-8050 has WiFi & USB which plays from a thumb drive (mass storage) but only plays MP3 - no WAV or FLAC files. It's also a receiver.

Get any simple stereo amp, and add Squeezebox touch (I can't call that tiny device a box). You even can use pure power amp, for that purpose, if media player is your only source.

There should be no problem finding a Blu Ray player with these features, except for the 24/96 wav/flac weirdness. You are probably in your own world for that one - get a cheap laptop for that.

With BD player you also need monitor to see menus. Device with touch screen is much better. Cheap laptop needs external DAC, and is likely more expensive then Logitech device.
