You guys are driving up the interest on the Epson models. How will I ever get a good deal on a 5010e now?

How to make 30ms of lag into the biggest factor EVER. Some of the discussions are so black and white.

Isn't 30ms about average on most lcd's anyways.

Projectors and LAG times!!!

Most of the threads are gamers trying to get info on input lag. The 30ms of input is not a big deal but epson has 60 - 100 ms and that makes a huge difference. I do agree too many threads and the reason is maybe we need a gamers thread or sub cat. Then we can talk about input lag leaving the rest to watch tahiti wave over and over.

Such a wise comment until this:

Was that Tahiti comment really necessary? Be a little more respectful to others. "the rest" --- /shaking my head

There are far more non-gungho-gamingiseverything-inputlagmustbenearzero projector owners here.

Tahiti Wave is great to watch, and I'd watch it over and over again more if it weren't for the 5 to 10 production company credits that roll before the main menu! :-)

LOL I was not being rude only saying my Dad sits in front of his 3d pj with this on all day long. I guess it works for some, bores me to death as with all the cartoons you guys watch, I don't have kids so I don't have to watch that garbage. 60ms lag is huge and anyone that cant feel it, has to be slowing down in life.

Oh no, not another Epson thread where a hardcore gamer thinks that an extra 30ms (60-30) of lag means that a PJ is no good. Lets go on and on about it again, please.... Ugh.

But how am I going to pwn noobs on COD MW3???

FWIW, my girlfriends crappy Vizio LCD has about 45ms of lag according to Guitar Hero and I don't find it distracting. Then again, maybe that's why I keep getting beat at NBA Jam online.

What we need is a 120hz 1080P projector for pc gaming that is under $3k.

120hz PC racing needs projector

Is getting a 120Hz 3D 720p projector worth it?
