Its 945G lol. But it will do fine with the GTX 220, it seems. So I'll just do that. But er, are you saying that newer model motherboards had HDMI out, for the onboard graphics? And that they supported audio over their HDMI out? If so that would be pretty cool.

Yes, with a G35/G41/G43/G45 chipset mb (multichannel LPCM, DD, DTS); but only G45 supports hardware HD video decode acceleration (a must for Core 2 Duo E4300).

You shouldn't bother with this option anyway (all G45 chipset mb have been discontinued; even if you are able to find one at ebay, why pay money when you can get GT 220 for free?).
