Need 35 foot HDMI cable for 3d projector

I'm purchasing a new Panny PTAE7000 3d projector to replace my old and tired Mits hc6500. I'm going to need a new hdmi cable that does 3d, it would need to be 35 feet. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

3D in what format, and at what resolution, frame rate, and color depth? There is nothing special about a cable for 3D. It just needs to have sufficient bandwidth. If you could get a 35' high speed HDMI cable, it would be pretty sure to do the job. Unfortunately, there is no such thing. Longest certified high speed passive HDMI cable is about 25'. That doesn't mean you cannot use a passive cable. A good one will do 1080p60 2D at 8 bit color depth, which means you should be able to do 1080p24 3D at 8 bit color depth which is sufficient for BD because it requires a bit less bandwidth. Monoprice 22AWG to 24AWG cables should do the job. If you want the best at not a huge price, the Blue Jeans Cable Series 1 is the way to go IMHO.

If you are going to run Deep Color, it is a difference story. You are probably looking at an active high speed HDMI cable, or one of the extender type products. If the latter, you will need to make sure it supports the required bandwidth. A lot of existing products are only cable of significant less than the maximum HDMI bandwidth.

I'm thinking this should work right. 35ft HIGH SPEED HDMI Cable w/Ethernet and Redmere Equalizer.

Yep, that is an active high speed HDMI cable. Should work. Might want to get a copy of the ATC certificate for it before you buy to be sure. The ones that come up on the page are for shorter cables.

I need the exact same thing and came upon this. I asked for the certificate and he said they needed to be updated and werent available. It makes me a little nervous to spend so much on this if I cannot be sure it is what is says it is. Monoprice says that they will not have redmere enabled cables until June and will be under half the Mycablemart price. I just need an in the wall 35ft cable right now and I would like it to be able to handle full resolution so I dont have to replace it within the next 3 years.

Please define what you mean by "full resolution". 4K? 1080p/60 3D? 1080p/24 3D? Deep color (even though that isn't resolution)? The answer to your question depends upon those answers.

You might want to check this forums archives. There has been years of answers to 'what type of cable should I use?'

There is no need to spend $100 (or even half of that) on a 35ft cable. It doesn't matter what frame rate or resolution you are running, any HDMI cable will work for you. You're not going to get better color or a sharper image or anything like that from a $200 cable compared to a $20 cable. HDMI cables don't work like that. You either get the image, or you don't.

35ft is well within the length maximum, which is about 60ft (depending on who you talk to) so there's no need for an active cable or extender.

1080P/60 is the maximum bandwidth you're going to find on most any media player and does not even come close to the limits of what HDMI can do.

All I'm saying is do some research, save yourself $100+ and get a cheap cable.

The maximum length you can successfully run with a passive HDMI cable is not necessarily 60' or so. It may be more or less. It may be substantially less depending on what you are sending down it. 1080p60 with DeepColor may not make it 45' with the best passive cable. 1080p60 3D, which is mostly of interest to gamers so far will be even more limited. It all depends on the cable, all the electronics involved, the bit rate, and the environment.
