OMG loved the Fox News GOP Debate skit. Michele Bachmann says when she asked Marcus out he replied, "Miss thang here's a quarter, go buy yourself a clue!" LMAO

Baldwin doing Tony Bennett absolutely kills

It appears Nasim Pedrad is a full-fledged cast member rather than simply being a featured player.

I enjoyed the GOP debate intro. The show was solid up until about the horrid gay sex game show that was WAYYYY out in left field and unfunny, in my opinion. However, the Tony Bennett was hilarious! Alec Baldwin is always solid. Also, the deleted Top Gun screen tests were freaking hilarious. I wouldn't mind an entire episode of those. Can't wait for Melissa McCarthy next week! She will be great!

Also, Radiohead is really mediocre tonight. And I love Radiohead. But Thom Yorke looks like he's on drugs. Yikes.

Best opening show in years and years.

Alec Baldwin is just awesome, especially on SNL. The opening debate skit was pure comedy gold.

The star wars auditions skit they had once done is actually on the new star wars bluray set in the spoofs feature.
If you never saw it youtube it its great....lemon does chewy, matthau does kenobi, streisand does leia, dreyfuss does c3po....classic stuff.

As a fan of them in the past, I completely agree. Ever since around Kid A they've become nothing more than a bunch of noise.

It was a strong show for the start of the season. Looks like they intend to clear a path for the "Party", as they see fit, as well.

If it's a political thing, SNL did the same type of skits mocking the democratic debates years ago. This week's was tame. Hopefully they get "worse".

seth myers is really doing an outstanding job on weekend update. I assume
he writes most of his material, if so, he is truly a gifted comedy writer.

He's the headwriter at SNL, and the speech he wrote for the last correspondents dinner was brilliant.

I love Seth Myers...he's so incredibly talented.
