HW-D550 connectivity question

Hello all!
I have a quick question. I currently have a new Sammy UN55D8000 set, Sammy 3d Blu-Ray player, PS3, and an H20 satellite receiver. All HDMI and optical ready. My current speaker bar is a 2 year old Ssammy unit with 2 optical inputs only, so I've got my H20, and Blu-Ray hooked to it. TV is not hooked to it at all, so OTA stuff and anything over the Samsung Smarthub doesn't get to the bar. I want to upgrade to the D550 which has 2 optical, 2 HDMI inputs, and an HDMI output. I have no experience with ARC so this is why I am asking this question. I assume I can hook 2 of my devises via HDMI to the bar, and then hook the bar to the TV via HDMI (ARC) output, and pass the vidio signal of those 2 devices to the TV, and the sound to the bar, and the TV sounds will pass back through the HDMI (ARC) out on the bar and produce the TV sounds? Thanks. Just want to make an informed decision. I'm sure the TV is ARC capable.

Why do you have a Blu-ray 3D player and the PS3 hooked up? The PS3 can output Blu-ray 3D and you will not benefit from any of the audio features the standalone player adds with the HW-D550.

So ideally you can run the H20 and PS3 to the Soundbar via HDMI, you can even control the PS3 using HDMI-CEC / Anynet as well as the soundbar.

ARC will send TV audio to the soundbar if you connect it to the TV input labeled ARC, I believe it should be input 2.
