Hey Guys, anyone notice any dead pixels yet?
They are easy to spot on a full white image, will appear as miscolored dots.

My Z800 oled's burned pixels from static white images like crosshairs and HUD's in videogames, and it did not take long!

Until proven, may want be very careful of what is left on screen. Static Bright white images will decay the pixels much faster than full color video.

no dead or stuck pixels on mine. let's hope it stays that way!

Bliz, can you comment on comfort level on your head? Is it difficult to get the unit positioned properly? Are the headphones comfortable/uncomfortable and easy to move out of the way? Thanks!

I'm planning on spending a great deal of time with it here in a few hours this evening, so I will have a better idea of long term comfort. It took me a few minutes to get it adjusted correctly, but in the short time I used it, it felt pretty good. Also, taking it on/off is really easy after it's adjusted. It's like a baseball hat.

As for the headphones they have some minor adjustments that let you move them forward/back and up/down. I am able to have them cover my ears perfectly. I haven't really tested the sound quality much yet so I can't comment on that. I'm going to test that tonight. Also, I want to see if there is enough play in the headphones to get them out of the way so I can use my own. We'll see...

As a side note, I invited a fellow gamer friend from work into my office. We play Gears of War 3 together all the time. He has a 102" 1080p theater setup in his basement (non 3D). His exact words where "HOLY CRAP, THAT'S AWESOME!". When he tried Gears in 3D.

I also have an unopened Uncharted 3 waiting on me at home.

I am surprised the people are getting theirs before we in Japan do! We get it tomorrow, but they took preorders for a few days and its full.. So if I want one I have to wait till after January

I am more curious about 3D movies then games. Can someone test Avatar and IMAX Under the Sea where the Cod fish pops out? I am highly curious if you can get good 3D popout from this.

Both. I will be trying all options. Even using the Tracking system in a Vuzix VR 920. I feel like the blue light was made that specific length for a reason though. Its perfect for optical tracking with a PS3.

I took a break and retried was able to get text much better(using right now.)I think it wasnt sitting right on my face.

Now m not sure if this is just me I will try to clean screen/ play with display settings but I have a bit of spotting on very light backgrounds almost like hotspots with projector.

I suggest Resistance 3 if you dont have it already, it really pops in 3D.

Avatar came in nice and clear. Audio is much better on these than I imagined. I will be taking pics of the headphones soon.

Those pics got me wondering...does it take a 1080p S|S signal and split it then downscale it to 720p? Or does it downscale it then separate the format into the 3D picture?

I'm really interested too in how the 3D depth changes with source, and whether it is out of or into the screen. (I own an nVidia 3d vision set and this can be altered). C'mon VicViper, keep up the good work!

I was really impressed with the set when I played with it a couple of times, but was less impressed with how far into the screen the picture went, as well as how far out it popped, but I only watched a bit of 'Rapunzel' (or something) the cartoon they were showing and a bog standard Sony 3D demo disc. I was still more than impressed enough to want one immediately though, and for 2D not just 3D! I'm guessing it'll really come into its own for gaming, when parameters can really be configured.
