Just got mine today and felt like a little kid opening his Christmas present.
Set it up, threw it on and popped in Resident Evil Afterlife, watched a few minutes of it and was like hmmm... 3D was not as good as my Sony Bravia 3D TV. Had the PS3 screen size set on 110, then changed it to 10" with no real difference. The unit said 3D signal detected and all, but I cut the 3D off and it looked about the same.
So popped in Avatar and that looked pretty good.. But still, thought my TV does better 3D. I am not seeing as much depth as others mention, yea its there but not like my TV does.
So I wanted to check popout and see how good it does, popped in my Marine World 3D movie I made and walla, pop was there. I often reached out feeling the object was in front of me. Looked pretty dang good

So that made me happy.
Then played Ridge Racer in 2D which was bad ass on this thing.
I gotta lot of playing around with this device before I really review it. But one damn thing is 100% forsure, it hurts like a mofo after wearing it awhile. So uncomforable my nose was red

Sony should have done a better job on this. I will be making new cushions and straps and something to keep the weight off my nose. Also after viewing my eyes feel weird, probably because the screens are so close. My left side seems blurred a bit near the edge but this may be due to me not setting it up good yet.
Another issue I noticed super fast was dust.. Those lenses get dirty way to easy and looks like dust gets inside with no problems. After 10 minutes of use I already have a damn white spec inside that won't come out, stuck on the right lense and very damn annoying. Gotta find a way to clean them good outside and inside as well...
