Every delivery the last eleven years has shown up in the late afternoon. I should have known that this would be the one to show up at 10 am. Since I leave for work tomorrow at 1 pm, I fully expect him to show up at 2 pm.

Here's a link to a graph from data-bass.com on the PB12-NSD that allows you to compare it to the XV15, you just need to select it in the drop down bar.
http://www.data-bass.com/data?page=system&id=66&mset=71

Are you past the 30 days on the PB12-NSD for being able to return it?

Interesting link.

I'm in the early stages of looking for an upgrade to my SVS 16-46PC+ that I've enjoyed for almost 10yrs.

I noticed that the distortion figures were a bit higher for the XV15 than the SVS subs. Some of the distortion figures seemed very high. How significant is this?

For reference I think I've narrowed my choices so far to Rythmik, SVS, or PSA.

I have almost saved up enough for th XV15. Got a question for others who received the XV15. How well us the sub packed? Are there double boxes? Reason for asking is I will use a receiving depot across the border and I cannot depend on them to take extra precaution with such a heavy load.

Also if there is damage, how does shipping insurance work in the US?

Where about in Canada are you?

my xv15's were not double boxed, but they were packaged very well. 4" heavy duty foam padding on all sides/corners.

Good question. I'll be doing the same, but with an XS30. I live in southern Saskatchewan. Will be picking up from a depot in Montana.

I am cringing even if there is a double box. I can see the sub being dropped during receiving yikes! Paranoia setting in!

What a Shriner?

I dont think they would be dropped, the boxes are pretty heavy, and pretty huge, so its not like they would be tossed around like on some of the youtube vids you can see. Youtube

They take 2 people to handle properly.
They are not double boxed, but all the corners of the sub are protected by foam inserts that are 2 inches thick, or more and the cardboard is also pretty thick. One of my boxes had a slight hole in it, but nothing that would have came close to marring the finish of the sub, other than that they were in tip-top shape. I wouldnt worry about them being damaged, and if something was to happen, the PSA guys have excellent customer service and you would be taken care of immediately.

Ever since, Friday the thirteenth or the number 13, has been associated with being unlucky.

It was real for the Knights Templar but today, nothing more than a fun superstition and a profitable movie franchise.

FedEx doesnt give tracking that good, it only tells you when it reaches the local facility, after that there is nothing else until they show up.
Aint that the truth
I got a sub theory question for you guys.... Is the dual opposed sealed design the preferred design when using 2 subs in a single sealed enclosure???

I was just wondering that with regards to the XS30, I'm guessing the answer to my above question is yes. But I think it would have looked cool to have the same type of design as the XV30 (both 15" subs downfiring) just sealed and not ported.
