Probably will use 3 footers behind the subs in case I want to move them to clean or whatever.

don't know what kind of "quailty" you are expecting, but i have used monoprice for all of my cable needs for the past 10 years without one problem.

Thanks for the links guys!

Thats just what I was looking for, I have been temporarily using the unsheilded craptastic RCA's that came with some old component I bought forever ago, they seem to work ok. I just wanted something better than the junk I am using now, and the ones in your link fit the bill perfectly. smile.gif

+1 on monoprice. Most of my cables and speaker wire is from them. A little bit of Blue Jeans Cable too.

Hey sling, I think the mono's will be fine, I use these fron BJC, the LC-1 for all interconnects and subwoofer cables as well, have been using them for many years with a lot of connect and disconnects and routing them, very durable and shielding is excellent. the shielding is important to me as well as low capacitance p/f. Life time warranty also.

Hope this helps.

Just looked, I use the same cables for my subs in my theater. Had mine for a few years, no problems. Can't go wrong with either Blue Jeans or Monoprice

Hey Guys,
My receiver has dual sub pre-outs and I realize it is the same signal from each pre-out, it probably doesn't matter but do you suggest a Y splitter from one sub pre-out of just use both pre-outs with cable to each sub? Thanks
Jeff:)

I would use both pre-outs with a cable to each sub. My receiver has two pre-outs, Denon 3311, that's what it do. No need the the Ysplitter.

I spent too much lately on my other "hobbies" lately to justify upgrading my subs now but so far so good, PSA has been delivering the goods and I'm happy to see that people are ecstatic about the subs' performance, sound quality, value, and customer service. I think there may be a XS30 with my name on it someday. Certainly since I'm not buying now, I can wait to see what other goodies Tom is going to deliver smile.gif

Let's see some 18 inchers Tom smile.gif

I will doing the same by the end of the week. I'm interested to see what new owners say over the next few days. Hopefully there will be lots of pics and comments. By the way Tom and I have been emailing back and forth all weekend, he has been very helpful to me, what a great guy to deal with. It's nice to know you get a great product, and someone great to deal with too.

Hi all,

We are running into some damage issues with the XS30s. So far one enclosure has been damaged(out of around 9-10 delivered I believe). More troubling... I'd say around 50% the grills have at least one of their "push pins" broken off. First, I apologize for this and any inconvenience it causes to anyone. Once you XS30 arrives please check the grill guides/pins carefully. If you notice ANY issue at all please contact us as soon as possible. We will find a solution for you immediately.

We have already address these issues with our shipping logistics consultants and several changes will take place to ensure near 0% shipping issues for any future XS30 shipment.

Thanks for the pictures! I missed the Fed Ex delivery today so have the XV-15 boxed up and ready to swap out. Did you have any issues with the grill tabs during shipment? Have you fired it up yet? From what I remember from your previous post, this was a significant upgrade for you correct?

Yes like Tom wrote here I had the same issue,he offer me some options
option 1
he offer me a partial refund plus new grills
option 2
return the sub and he take care the return shipping cost
option 3
exchange the sub and he also take care both shipping cost.

I will go with option 1 smile.gif so far I'm very happy with my purchase.

I'm just doing some shopping on Monoprice for RCA's, faceplates, keystone jacks etc, and I realize something is screwed up. The 7.2 faceplate/gangplate for all my connections has an RCA on the front side for both subs, and Coax connector on the back. Ok thats fine, I will run Coax to a faceplate in the wall behind the sub, then from there, use the RCA cables you guys linked me on Monoprice to hook the sub to the faceplate. But how the heck do I change back from Coax connector to RCA on the faceplate? I looked all over Monoprice and I dont see anything to adapt from Coax back to RCA? I'm all confused here.... confused.gif

One of these might help.

The internet is like "Alice's Restaurant." You can get anything you want, but Alice. And today, with Craig's list, sometimes you can get Alice. tongue.gif

go with the 3 gang 8.2 connector. it's cheaper, and you don't have to worry about the conversion. or call them and ask them. or get one from amazon. i can't understand why they would do that...

Unfortunately I already have the 7.2 gangplate here, I ordered it a while ago, I just didnt realize the Coax connector would be a problem. I thought I could just order the faceplate for behind the sub with a coax on the back and an RCA on the front. I will just get one of the adapters that Beeman linked and get a couple 25 foot RCA cables for in the wall I guess.
