Going down in screen size experiences

I am thinking about going down from a 120in to a 92-100in. My sitting distance 10ft. I spoiled my eyes with a 135in, then a 119in from a lot shorter distance. Anyone had experiences with such big size differences?

If you have a good dispaly and don't have alot of screen door effect then
stay with the 120in but if that bothers you then 113in would still give
you the immersion and a tighter pixel structure. 92in will give you the
sensation you want to get out of your chair and sit closer.

Just curious but is there a reason why you are going down in size? Are you keeping the same seating distance?

Yes, everything is staying the same. Just hear that zoom max is hurting image and I should shoot for long to mid throw

I think 92in is too small, but I might be able to do 100in and not feel so disappointed. I watched a game at my friends house on his 106in screen and it wasn't too bad, but its a noticeable difference from 120in

Why don't you just zoom down your image to 100 or so and see if the improvements in quality make up for lack of size......

I don't have my new RS55 yet, but I did before with my last projector, RS40. But not from the same stance. I went from a 135in from 19ft to 120in from 12'5". It was mainly for 3D
