As said above those line ups are for the Rochester division. The very Eastern edge of Niagara and Erie counties are serviced by the Rochester division not the Buffalo division. We were always Time Warner and never part of the Adelphia mess. Time Warner is moving to a national line up where all channels over 100 will eventually will be the same nationwide. So eventually no matter where you are, if Time Warner is your cable provider channel 300 will be ESPN. Syracuse was the first area to go to the new line up, Albany will be second followed by Rochester and then STNY. Not sure about Buffalo. All channels under 100 will remain the same, so the Canadian channels will still be on channels 5 and 9 and whatever subschannels you get that we don’t will be carried in the 1200s, hopefully we won’t see any more subchannels on this side of Erie County the two that we have waste enough bandwidth.
This also means no more separate HD and SD channel numbers. Not sure how it is Buffalo, but for the past month, if not longer, the vast majority of HD channels have been on the SD channel #s.
