Man, keeps looking better and better! I really like the center tower. Wish I could do something similar. Also, why point the subs inward? Traditionally even though subs radiate downwards and out they're still speakers and I'm curious if you're getting any sort of cancelling out effect from having them face each other? Regardless great looking system now, keep it up!
Thanks pcweber111! Yes, I love the tower as a center and will probably retain that format even when I get superior speakers...in the future...far far away....
Actually, after numerous and numerous placement attempts to get the best response from both speakers in my room, this got me the best results. Although they face each other, they are mostly blocked by the shelves.
For the life of me, I couldn't get rid of the giant dip( between 80hz and 50hz) I was getting from my left sub. The right one on it's own was fine, but the left one not so much. And when I was measuring both of them, the left one was sort of taking over if you will. I wish I would have kept the graph. Bottom line, ARC could only do so much to flatten the curve.
I followed what a member did that worked for him and what do you know, it corrected the issue significantly.
As you can see, the measure line (red), for both sub, is not perfect by any means, but much better then previous attemp and ARC was able to flatten the response for both sub to an acceptable curve.
