I'm looking to get new speakers to use with my TV. My budget is between $100 - $200. I'm not so interested in surround sound, so I've been looking at either a soundbar or bookshelf speakers + subwoofer setup. The only audio output my TV has is a headphone output, but I can get an adapter to work with RCA. Also, the infrared receiver for my TV is only 3 inches off the stand it's on, so a soundbar might block it if placed in front. Would moving the soundbar behind the TV make a big difference?
