I've been doing this a long time and my reputation speaks for itself. I am genuinely trying to help the OP (and other users) whenever I can. Though I can only help as much as the other person wants to help themselves and listen and take constructive criticism.

Scott, there isn't much you can do when people post all kinds of contradictions and also don't have much of a knowledge base or 1/100th the experience of someone like yourself.

Just keep the rubber boots handy to wade through the misinformation.

The Behringer @ Parts Express is total crap - I have REAL pro equipment (commercial grade install level), and ANYTHING from Behringer is known to be unreliable and generally a cheaply made rip-off from better manufacturers. Google them.

For a home budget - check out BIC or Acoustech - the names sound cheap, but they offer well made, affordable subs that 99% of consumers are absolutely happy with.
