House of Lies on SHO - Page 5

I kind of missed Marty talking to the audience, but it could be like those old Episodes of Seinfield where he was still doing the stand up between the segments. I may miss it for a few episodes then promptly forget it existed.
Actually, I had forgotten that he used to talk to the audience until at one point, I think it was when he was sitting at the bar, he turned to the camera and paused for a second. Then I remembered and I thought for sure he was going to say something, but he didn't. I'm wondering if he actually did, but it got cut.

Same here until you guys pointed it out. Interesting how I did not even take notice.

Doug hogging the shrimp and being thrown out of the casino was pretty good. I like Jeannie being drunk and acting silly. Kinda hot biggrin.gif

Looks like Showtime worked a deal with Harrah's this season...

1. Bally's got turned into the "Emerald"
2. The planning meetings are held at Paris.
3. They are staying at Caesar's.
These first 2 episodes have been excellent. The combination of flashbacks to the end of season 1 and the current story lines have been well done. The relationship between Marty and Jeannie is just getting going.
It seems this is a Jeannie centric season, she's the one in the spotlight, now she's hanging for dear life to keep her job against the new boss, while at the same time dealing with her feelings for Marty..

I'm not complaining though, the more of Kristen the better.. :P

So "Tamara" is going to be fired or she'll be here bothering Marty on every chance she gets?

I agree.

Really good episode last night. Doug is a hoot biggrin.gif

Love the casting of Marty's ex-wife, Monica, played by Dawn Olivieri. She's hot.

The prostitute scene at the hotel was good. How one of the "douchebag" twins slapped Marty's butt. There was a few more rememberable moments that I wanted to talk about but I forgot. Whoops.

Finally caught up. Marty's EX is actually hilarious some how now, It's not an annoying train wreak in progress like the past. That was quite an episode though. Better than the episode before where I dunno WTF was wrong with Jeannie.

Did him saying "douche" count?
Still a little too much Jeannie for me. I am still missing Marty talking to the audience. It seems they have substituted those moment for Marty looking at the camera when something stupid is happening. I think I also liked them jumping from case to case instead sticking with one case.
I don't know but Marty's ex reminds me so much of Tricia Helfer... little bit taller but she looks the same

Something's wrong with this world where we get to see Doug's naked butt and nothing from Jeannie

Showtime renews "Shameless," "House of Lies," "Californication"
By Jessica Derschowitz / CBS News/ January 29, 2013, 3:20 PM

"Shameless," "House of Lies" and "Californication" are all set to return in 2014.

Showtime announced Tuesday that it is renewing its entire current Sunday night lineup for new seasons.

"'Californication,' 'House of Lies' and 'Shameless' possess highly distinctive comedic voices, and given that all three continue to grow their audience season after season -- the pick-up decision was easy," Showtime entertainment president David Nevins said in a statement. "I am incredibly excited to see what each of these series has in store for their next seasons."

The renewals mean "Shameless" will get a fourth season, "House of Lies" will get a third season and "Californication" will have a seventh.

All three series returned on Jan. 13 with their highest-rated episodes ever, Showtime said in the announcement. The third season of "Shameless "is up 22 percent (averaging 5.4 million weekly viewers across multiple platforms), the second season of "House of Lies" is up 10 percent (3.2 million) and the sixth season of "Californication" is up 21 percent (3.1 million).

Production on the new seasons will begin in Los Angeles later this year.

She suffers from "Jessica Alba Syndrome". My own definition of actresses that seek out roles that require nudity, and refuse to disrobe due to moral beliefs.

+1

Obviously, it's about getting a fat paycheck.wink.gif
post #137 of 227
How do you know it is due to moral beliefs? Maybe she doesn't like her small breasts.
Becasue we can only go by what we hear in interviews? Usually its moral grounds that the no nudity clause is enacted, but honestly that post was made tounge in cheek, so it shouldnt be taken taht seriously....

Matt Damon! It was funny/wild when he was all drugged up in the conference room. His pupils were so tiny! eek.gif
The ending commercial had me confused for a moment. Did not know if it was a real, legit commercial or not. Found out the answer at the end of course.

The "lesbian" sex scene was kind of hot. Funny how Monica acted like a man at the end and fell asleep tired.

Jeannie playing ball with Roscoe was nice. I laughed when Roscoe's "friend" was getting frisky with Jeannie. He popped a boner! That was the end of that tongue.gif

Looks like everyone is gettin pretty desperate. lol...

Jeannie's date! wow, talk about awkward eek.gif

Marty's brother, Macolm, was intense. He seemed like he just wanted family money. Guy was sort of a jerk.

This week's featured CEO, his assistant? was very pretty. Anybody got a name? (I did not search around yet.) Lucky Marty.

I laughed when Clyde's dating profile said "c*ck" for every answer. His date ended up well. I wonder how she looked, we never saw her.

Lisa Edelstein (always hot!!) - Apparently you never watched House - or a lot of other shows.

btw, Clyde answered "c*ck".. Doug had the date.

Ha. There ya go. She was on House, that's where I recall her from.

Whoops. Thanks for the correction.

Given Jeannie's reaction, I'd guess that Doug's date was better looking than expected.
Jeannie was a total bitch on that date. Kinda funny given what she's been through in the past several months.

I am glad they did not work Kristen Bell's pregnancy into the story line. Unfortunately we won't be seeing any bikini shots of Jeannie this season.
Nice seeing Lisa again although. I bit odd away from House.

They showed her in the previews for next week.

Man, Lisa has shown a lot of skin on House (remember House's fantasy), I thought she was even showing a bit more here... I am dissapoint...

She was pretty but not at hot as Jeannie tongue.gif
The pool scene where Clyde was hitting on her was a hoot.

The office retreat was fun. I laughed when the raft fell apart. Roscoe's school dance was funny, I giggled a little. Was funny to watch all the adults in shock. That rap music tongue.gif

Interesting to see about next week's episode. Think Marty is in trouble?
