PowerLite 1080 UB horizontal center line

Hi, All!
I installed a new official EPSON lamp and my projector has started displaying a horizontal line through the exact middle of the screen. it's a dark line, and the entire image above it is blue-tinted and a little too bright. what the heck? is my projector broken or is this an issue with the new lamp?
