Here in Indy... the sale was still on today for the DMP-BDT210.

Thank you CharlesR.

I picked up a Panasonic DMP-BDT210 at Austin Fry's for $119. It replaces my newly-dead (no longer reads blu-rays) Sony PS3. I could not see getting another Sony, and that price made a nicely-featured one justifiable.

Drat! I have a 210 arriving from Amazon today; paid $139 or so. Oh well, $20 is not a big deal.

Darn -- I keep forgetting my user ID on this forum (only one where I don't use w7ox). Guess I need to visit more often

I may be back later today. I'm setting up the 210 with my old 34" Sony tube set (34XBR800 or some such), which has DVI (one) vs. HDMI. With my current Panny BD player I use an HDMI cable, HDMI-DVI adapter at the TV end, and run audio separately from L-R audio at the back of the BD player. BUT the new models like the 210 have fewer output options. Eventually I'll need to go to a bigger set with HDMI -- but my wife is happy with the 9 year old Sony (which still works fine after my 2008 replacement of a couple of ICs). And my lifting limit now is 10 lbs (carotid artery surgery last Monday)

Fingers crossed that this will be a simple R&R with my old BD player

And I just found this on-topic thread http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1359937. It says I will lose audio quality by using those analog audio outputs (not a problem, I'm deaf in one ear). Also has some thoughts on menu options for this approach: Those could be very helpful

Try Emailing Amazon sometimes they will be generous and refund it especially if you are Prime. Tell them you are thinking about sending it back and re-buying it, fairly painless with Amazon.

I bought two BDs last week and the price dropped $4 on each ($8 total) before I received them. I emailed them and although they didn't refund the difference they did give me a $10 coupon on my next purchase so I actually got $5 off each. Or you could say I got the 210 for $109.

I bought it at Amazon today for $139 and when I checked back and hour or so later, the price had dropped to $119. I inquired and they said they do not generally make post purchase adjustments, nor do they promise to match other companies' prices, but since it had shipped so quickly ( I was no longer able to cancel) and the price drop was "significant", they would make an adjustment. In case you're wondering, I do have prime, and yes, I would have sent it back and rebought it at the lower price, so this seemed a lot easier. Looks like it went out so fast it may be here tomorrow, even tho' I sent it standard.

Kudos to Amazon for their good customer service.

Well, it is back up to 139! Now to keep watching for the drop.

The price fluctuation happened to me as well. Called Amazon, and they adjusted for me as well. They also did if for my tv. So, yes, kudos to their customer service.

I still see the $30 savings tag on this, but is that already figured into the price?
This is on the Panasonic website.

Hello: My first time in this forum. I bought the DMP-BDT210 yesterday Dec, 18th from Costco for $119 plus tax. As soon as I registered this player with Amazon.com and Vudu I got another $5.99 movie credit with each for a nice total of $12.00 in movie credits. (I didn't notice a credit from CinemaNow after registration).

I can't wait to finally get my hands on the included Avatar 3D movie. About how long does it take to process the Avatar 3D promo order ?

Frys.com has the BDT210 online for $109.99 plus shipping. Cheapest shipping for me was around $10.50. Price is given at checkout.

As mentioned before picked up my new 210 at Fry's today for 119 at a Dallas TX location. They were down to 3 units when I was there with several people standing in the check out line with one in hand.

Thanks Mike. I'm a little far from Texas. I'm in NY. $119 seems to be the cheapest out there. I get a discount directly from Panasonic and can get one for $119 as well.

Anytime Jerome, for that price it definitely is a good deal. Have officially retired my trusty old BD30 which has performed flawlessly for me since the first day I owned it. After setting up the 210 today the difference alone in load times is incredible, not to mention user interface and features. No issues with online downloads such as netflix or amazon prime, you will be very happy with this player.

Costco.com is Out of Stock, but our local store has several dozen @ the $119.99 price.

Nice thing about buying from Costco is that the price includes an extended return period and a HDMI cable.

Perhaps not major decision factors, but nice Tie Breakers!

After the $20 credit from Amazon and the $30 off on amazon for signing up for an Amazon Visa card I got my 210 for about $77. There is no charge for the card and I'll probably cancel it anyway since I already have one. The price was $127 originally but I think it may have gone up.
