Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals thread for 2011

HTPC items only!!!

What are you all looking to get for your HTPC's?

I'll be looking for a deal on a 40-60GB solid state drive. Hopefully something CHEAP!!
And maybe a desktop ATX case.

What about yourself? Any deals you know are coming that you want to share with the rest of us?

Mods; feel free to delete the thread if you want. I know deals threads are not typically permitted but I'm hoping the once a year Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals thread is okay. Please post any deals AVS will be having, since I know AVS is an awesome place to order audio/video equipment from and expect killer service. I never understood why you don't advertise more on your own forums.

I'm looking for an upgrade to my 1gb 5570.

Really hard to wait with this deal today...

1saleaday.com ... a ATI Radeon HD 5850 1GB DDR5 for 119.99.

not sure i can pass that up.

Yes, guys, with the new forum policy in its formative stages, you are allowed to talk about deals in designated areas...

Please post any HTPC deals found for Black Friday, Cyber Monday, etc. in this thread!

If anyone knows any deals for 2tb hard drives during Black Friday or Cyber Monday please PM me.

The best "Black Friday" site I am aware of is www.bfads.net

They have a decent search engine, and this link should take you directly to the "Computer Components" section: http://bfads.net/Search/+/items/all/43

Newegg has not announced their Black Friday items yet, but I'm sure there will be plenty of HTPC components.

Thanks, Bob! I'll enjoy this new forum!

I'm surprised we're seeing 2TB drives so cheap, what with all the shortages in the Industry due to flooding in Thailand.

Seagate is probably trying to get rid of those infamous "click of death" Barracuda drives ;-)

Anyone know when Office Depot's BF sale starts? They're the only ones I've seen so far that's offering 2TB Internal Drives for under $100.

And the SD HDHomerun Prime went on sale for $170 at Newegg and Amazon as well. Good times for Cablecard tuners, finally.
