There was a thread on this before but there does not seem to be a way to do the HD (or 3D) versions of the videos.

That's dumb, then what's the point of the aPP if it doesn't work well??

Why brag about it as a feature when it makes the product look like crap.

The video s come in crystal clear on my tablet.

So what do i need to do? Hook the computer up to TV ??

You've already bought the TV so that's the point of the app. It was just a bulletpoint on the list to compete with other TVs that have an equally crappy app on their TV.

Yes, you would need to hook up a computer to the TV. Keep in mind that your tablet is probably 10" and the TV is 5 times as large. The same resolution will not look nearly as good on the TV as it does on the tablet.

Yea the app is just a "hey bonus stuff!" kind of thing, almost like netflix which is a pretty junky app that I use only when I want to save power and not turn on my PS3 or HTPC.

Yes, see here

The lack of HD is probably because many internet connections are not fast enough to stream 720p without stops even at Youtube's low bitrate. Some people would then blame someone other than Youtube or their ISP so you can work it out
