Software and mic for quick sound sweeps

I use to use TruRta a while ago. I had to jump through hoops. Is there a simple way to use my laptop and check my speakers responses....

Nothing crazy, just to do some quick sweeps.

So that would be software and a mic

No you have to jump through hoops to setup an rta system.

Mic calibration and Soundcard issues are common problems for computer RTA systems. I assume that is the hoops you are talking about.

If you used trueRTA before it should be easier the 2nd time around.

You might check out room eq wizard. I didn't find it that hard to setup but there were still "hoops". monoprice might sell a few hundred dollar "turn key" setup.
