I'm confused.

I currently have 5 bose speakers in old pioneer amp without hdmi and home made sub.

I'm looking to buy surround sound and 3d blue ray player. Don't care about 3d sound.

will upgrading my system now sound so much better than what I have?

I've heard my buddies all in 1 blu ray sony system and it sounds awesome!

I'm reading the people are saying buy separates because for the money it sounds better. Like the Polk rm 6750
and or Martin Logan mlt2 .

What should I do? Sony all in one or buy everything separate and is it all worth replacing what I have , just for hdmi + sound quality???

Worth replacing is totally up to you. I think a lot of us would say replace, ideally with separates, but only you know what you can afford. Personally, I think you'd be better to replace with a more current system. You'll be glad you did in the long run.

Would Bose cubes from AC mass 25 series 2 be any better or worse than a htib by Panasonic.

Let's say the btt380 or any of the one above
