Need help on DirecTV 3D Capture setup please :)

Hello All. I recently purchased a Gefen HDMI Detective Plus from B&H Photo. The intent was to spoof my Sony 3D XBR 52LX900's EDID, so my DirecTV HR22-700 would output it's 3D signal so I could capture it with my BlackMagic Intensity Pro Capture Card. 2 problems arose after I programmed Gefen Detective correctly as per instructions and hooked up:

1. A message saying "Your TV does not support this program's content protection". I guess that's HDCP kicking in. Do I need an HDCP stripper like the HD Fury? Will that even work? And do I install that before or after the Gefen Detective?

2. All I get for audio is a jittery static sound when I do have a non-HDCP side-by-side picture on my BlackMagic Express capture software.

BTW, I've tried both 1 & 2 with Dip Switch 4 ON as per Gefen instructions to pass HDCP thru (which I am not fully versed on).

Any help at this point would be much appreciated!

Your BlackMagic will refuse to record it if HDCP is on. You may need to talk to a guy called Moome

My DirecTV DVR is filling up with 3D programming and I need to off-load it somehow. Up to this point, I have been recording HD programing on my Hauppauge HDPVR-1212. Obviously, 3D material is a whole new animal. In my research I've discovered that probably the best solution for the HDCP and EDID issues is the HDFury3. What I I'm not clear on is what will actually capture the 3D programming. For what I've been able to tell, the HDPVR-1212 won't cut it. I'm looking at purchasing an EP950 3D media player (from Micca) for playback on my LG passive 3D TV, so I just need a capture device to record with. Does the Blackmagic Intensity Pro work? I see they now have a DeckLink HD Extreme 3D, but it is very pricey ($995).

Just for information, the Pixel Magic MTV7000D-Mini is a device capable of 3D recording.
