I would love to see early Marillion albums released in MCH, hi-res if possible, but I'd settle for DD/DTS.

My top 5 would be:

Led Zep - 3
Alan Parsons - Tales of mystery ...
Pink Floyd - Animals
Dire Straits - Love Over Gold
Vangelis - Heaven and Hell or China

Yes, APP Tales would be terrific. Too bad Parsons doesn't own his music catalog, otherwise I suspect we'd have seen surround versions of many more of his albums already.

Great list I would take Metallica the Black Album over No.3.

You're not a fan of the DVD-A?

Yeah ELP's first album would be awesome, and also Trilogy, not a huge fan of Tarkus though. Also agree with TD's Phaedra , and most of it's early work would be a boon as well.

Slipped my mind and yes I would. Sub that with ELP best of.

I would want:
1) Meddle by Pink Floyd, although Animals would certainly be welcome.
2) Graceland, by Paul Simon (not prog-rock, but would make a good MC release).
3) I think several of the albums by Renaissance would make nice MC releases.

Close to the Edge, Thick as a Brick, and the entire Quadrophenia, as have been previously discussed. I just noticed somebody mentioned Eno, I would be very into Taking Tiger Mountain By Strategy...

I also think Blues for Allah, by the Grateful Dead, would be interesting. I wonder how Live Dead would sound in MC, although it probably wasn't recorded in enough tracks to make an effective MC mix.

Live Dead was a 16 track recording.

No Rust In Peace?

This was just a short list off the top of my head. I'd buy Rust In Peace if it came out. Or any other Megadeth title that came out. I have Peace Sells on DVD Audio.

Just finished listening to Alan Parson's "A Valid Path" on 5.1 DTS. It was outstanding! Let's get some of his stuff ouot on SACD (or BluRay or DVD-A)

Although, I have to say, the 5.1 DTS sounded SO good, that I wonder if I have the ears to discern something even better. I am reeling.

Even though most of the classic Yes albums always make these types of lists I'd like to specifically mention Going For The One. Might be my favorite Yes album but my heart always reverts back to Close To The edge.

Close To The Edge- Yes. It's staggering this isn't out in surround. I'd also vote for Tales from Topographic Oceans, but there's no way that would ever be done.
All Steely Dan. Other than Gaucho which has been done in surround a couple of times.
In a Glass House- Gentle Giant. Amazing prog album.
Jefferson Airplane- Volunteers, Crown of Creation or Surrealistic Pillow. Pick one
How about some '60 psychedelia. The United States of America or Ultimate Spinach would be great.
