Please help if anyone can! I would really appreciate a straight forward answer to our problem.
We have a new Optivision 3D compatible projector.
Bought a Samsung 3D Blue-Ray/DVD player
The player nor the projector will play in 3D when directly connected. We get a message that we do not have 3D capablity when popping in a 3D movie or trying to watch On Demand. Have tried a new HDMI cable that specifies 3D on the package (8ft). and hooked up a digital optical cable from soundbar to DVDplayer, which is fine. Still no 3D! checked all the settings, The only thing I don't understand in the settings is "3D NR" (High,Med, or Low) we chose high. DO we need some kind of converter or transmitter??? Do we need a 3D AV receiver?? (other threads do not make it seem recommended) NO one at the stores seems to know anything about this stuff! What happened to the good old days of plug&play
Optivision came with a really lame booklet, and website is not at all helpful either. It just doesn't seem like it should be so complicated
