Just bought a new home and looking for audio suggestions (5.1 or 7.1), receiver, speakers and sub size?
The room size is 15ft. x 11ft. x 8ft. ceilings; mainly used for movie use, but occasional music listening. Plan on pairing the audio system with a newly purchased (within the last year) 82in. Mitsubishi DLP (WD 82738)
I was looking to spend between $2000 and $3000, but wanted to get the best value.
The room has an opening, but I plan on framing it in with double doors soon. It also has a window, any suggestions for a build to cover the window? I don't plan on doing much acoustical treatments to the room besides enclosing the room, covering the window and hanging panels. Do you think this would suffice?
Any other suggestions are very welcome!
