Help wiring ps3 to pioneer vsx821 then to tv to run 2 inputs

Here's my question I would like to have seperate input on my tv for game and blu-ray and am using a ps3 for both. can i run an hdmi splitter off my ps3 so i have two distinct inputs on the tv so i am not pulling up my diagnostic screen on tv to change to game mode adjust settings and then back to blu ray and re adjust settings..
