Panasonic VT30 vs Pioneer 151

I am considering buying a new tv. I currently have the Pioneer Elite 151FD and I'm thinking of going to the Panasonic VT30. Besdies the slight difference in black level, what are the main differences in picture quality that I would notice, if anyone can help? Or is the difference in pq very slim? I would be looking at the 65". Any thoughts or advice on the differences I may notice, if any?

any reason you are not looking at the 70" elite made by sharp (and pioneer techs)? Does it have to be a plasma?

honest question on thought process. Just got done watching the 2011 shootout.

I believe just about everything is better on the 151, with the exception of size.

Not looking at the Elite for two reasons. 1) Not available in Canada, 2) Too much money.

Are you sure everything is better on the Kuro? I've been finding the picture to be a bit too dark/dull recently. Also, on the Panasonic (very entry level tv) that I also have, there is more detail in the picture, ex)in people's faces. Add in the DSE on the Kuro, which I have not noticed on the new Panasonics. The DSE is the whole reason why I'm thinking of selling. It drives me nuts and I always notice it, even when I try not to. If it wasn't for that it would be the perfect set, but for something that is flawed like that, even though Pioneer says it is normal, that's a huge issue for me.
