Technology: LED

Response time: 8ms (maximum) or lower

Viewing Angle option: IPS

Color Gamut Range: 96% (minimum) AdobeRGB coverage or more.

The one who fits my bill the most is the DreamColor, no matter how much I look when I compile my specifications in the searches I always stumble back upon this one... I can buy it, but the price tag is a little bit too much (it's like the price for 4 mid-range monitors).

Oh and I guess in light of everything (the information provided on this thread) I don't really need 10-bit.

Okay, so I have done more research, so tell me what you think of these two:

NEC EA231WMI-BK (H-IPS, true 8-bit, 16:9, 1920x1080, CCFL)

ViewSonic VP2365 (E-IPS, true 8-bit, 16:9, 1920x1080, LED)

And LCDs CCFL turn yellow as they age, so that even things out.

Please no glossy, as I mentioned glossy gives more eyestrain. I guess I don't mind if a TV is glossy, but for me a computer monitor has to be non-glossy.

IPS and TN LCDs are built completely different, not just an option.

In my experience Viewsonic has made nothing but entry level consumer garbage ever since they stopped making CRT's, has that changed?
