I havent had reason to switch this way [as I usually decide either hd pvr input or oppo input exclusively ].
Maybe theres a chance its an undocumented fix in the new 104 firmware -never know? . In the meantime as its obviously linked to the hdmi handshaking locking a possible workaround is using the hdmi link cec . I know this normally is best left off for all sorts of components but maybe have a play with it ;the 9000/6010 has options for 2 way comms and one way ;may have an effect .

There is a fix for Oppo - Epson HDMI Issue. I contacted Oppo on Saturday and by Sunday they sent a link to a USB method Firmware update. Oppo said Runco and Nad have similiar issue. Can not ask for better suport!




















; so far in Aus they want us to send our 9000's in to a service center for fear of bricking it with the 104 firmware rather than giving us the usb option thats in the wild
