Panasonic 65vt30 at BB for $2799

Didn't know they price matched Amazon. I've never seen it under $3499.99 at BB. Too bad I'm waiting for the 2012 model.

Ya, i'm going to wait until after CES to make my decision because the 2012 Panasonics are getting some good hype right now. They're using a new "first" technology in plasmas next year to help them compete on the sales floor w/ lcds. New filters, brightness, and other things are expected. I think it will be worth the wait to find out if the 2012s will live up to the hype.

It's heavily dependent on store and manager. Took me 3 tries to find one that would PM Amazon below their cost. Earliest 2012 will be available (based upon last 2 years) is likely mid-April. I couldn't wait that long even though the new changes are supposed to be $$$.

Saw it today (65vt30) at a Magnolia in bestbuy for $2999. Looked great. 55" for $1999... now to convince my wife...

seen it at a Houston, TX location last night for @2799 also. Only $300 more than the GT online at BB

Yup as an existing amazon prime customer $2800 delivered is very tough to pass up. Still on the fence though. Anyone know dealer cost? How much lower can these credibly be sold for, especially once the 2012 models are shown at CES?

Wow amazon just went back up to $3300. Be interesting to see if BB stays at $2800. Fwiw Cleveland plasma still showing $2800 but they also fluctuate...

Everything seems to go up before it drops further down.....at least that's been the trend the last couple of months on Amazon.

BBy is still 2800. Pricing doesn't usually change until Sunday. They do have a 60 day price match guarantee.

My problem is that every time the price drops I keep telling myself that I'll buy after the next price drop and here I am a year later still suffering with a 40" JVC from 2006

Apparently US appliance has it for $2600 white glove (!) which apparently amazon will match if you call. You have to go all the way through check out on US appliance to see the price. It shows up right before the last Click to purchase.
