You would be suprised how many people around where i live watch triad tv if you have Direct tv you get both Roanoke and Winston Greensboro all triad stations.And at Christmas anyone hardly goes shopping in Roanoke its a little closer to triad more stores too.And ch 8 and 2 even have the temps for Fries every now and then how i dont know. I'm sure many would be surprised how they may be watching a television station, without being a viewer..
"Tweener" areas, between markets, used to get more attention, perhaps, than they were worth as marketing points.
Now, it may be the opposite.
My only issue is that the next FCC alteration to broadcast TV might leave a lot of pockets of potential viewers and advertisers
with no broadcast TV market to identify with.
I know there are many TV watchers in Southside VA that identify more with the Triad or Triangle TV markets than a VA market, but have been told they were in error. This might need to be addressed soon.
