yes the 4k virus is one of the best virus you can get

today i got a visit from a us guy that have 42 cinema screens there.

a very good informed guy and it was a pleasure to show him my cinema and
the 4k 3d stills.

his reacton was the same as yours when you visit me he say
" it looks like real" to the 4k 3d stills but also he was very surprised to
see how good the 3d bd from advatar looks
with the doublestack 4k with the new infitec "E" system.
sad that he had just 3 hours time as his plane left early but it was a very nice time with him and possible not the last.

What lens did you get?

Does it hold the focus perfectly, mine (not being from the cinema side but a great fixed one) drifts a little bit from razor sharp.

Ah the Doremi, very nice. Ask your cinema contact for the latest preview trail mix. It has Titanic in 3D.

You will probably have to upgrade the lens next spring for tru 4k.

Let me know if the Crestron programmer needs some sample Crestron commands. Also, the RS-232 Baud rate has to be at 115,200 for it to work. This is unusual, since lower Baud rates are normally better for compatibility.

Hi guys, what you will find interesting of my guy is that he is one of the few programmers that does it via IP instead of rs-232.

You still need to download the vnc app for doremi. In order to row the showvault in an ipad. At the moment the api that is available has no easy way of selecting IMB inputs (internal,hdmi,sdi), I got an email yesterday from the president of doremi indicating they are going to code something to simplify this.

A few more thoughts from my experience with my Barco DCI projectors and Crestron.

The only Crestron control needed is to execute Barco Communicator macros. Communicator is Barco's PC application for control of DCI projectors and it comes in three versions, with the most capable at a modest cost. You can have an unlimited number of Communicator macros and they can range from a single function, like turn projector lamp on, to many commands executed in sequence. The only tricky part of the macro execute command string is the checksum, and a really top level Crestron programmer will know how to do that automatically so that it doesn't have to be calculated manually. Don't ask me how to do this part because it's way beyond my capability.

The other very useful Crestron function is to integrate Communicator into the Crestron system through Crestron "Touch The PC" module. You can have Communicator displayed on your Crestron panel and control it through touch.

Congratulations! I like the size and configuration of the setup - all components seem to be carefully selected. You have been starting a big undertaking and everything seems to turn out positive. Your audio setup is astonishing - who had the idea? I am very familiar with these kind of speakers as I am driving 2 Quad ESL63 Professional Monitor Series in my stereo setup. I assume you will receive a very, very natural soundstage. Stunning: the specs show a sensivity of 99db, I have no clue how they reach this extreme level. So good luck when firing the system up!

this is OT, but let me ask a short question: I own a DP-1200 and when I send a signal via HDMI to the DVI input, is the signal reclocked inside of the DP-1200 or is the BluRay-player working as a kind of masterclock?
