Advanced Portion of Service Menu Unlocked on Samsung LN32D550!

As the title suggests, I was able to access the advanced portion of the service menu on my Sept 2011 build Samsung LN32D550. It contains all kinds of picture settings including WB Movie and the ability to really turn dynamic contrast off, among various other picture items. I just selected advanced and pressed 0000 and then chose Picture_2D (after using the emulator trick).

If you had actually bothered reading my post carefully, you'd notice the code wasn't ever changed. Instead they simply restored access to this portion of the service menu in the latest build on this TV (and possibly other new models as well). Furthermore, the most common service menu mistake newbies make is with the ADC Calibration menu, which was never hidden by Samsung despite the existence of 2-3 threads in this forum dedicated to the "Calibration Failure" issue.

I was responding to Michael, not you. My intent could have been more clear. It was in jest, as Michael, and others who frequent this section of the forum, likely understood. Anyone familiar with the history of consumers dabbling in service menus can attest to the consequences some have encountered.

This has already been attempted on both the D550 and the D8000 and dynamic contrast could not be defeated. Using the debug menu available via serial link both janos and I set all of the Picture_2D enhance sub-menu items (BM_start, BM_start_max, BM_start_max2, Lfunc_gain, Hfunc_gain, LCE_Gain) to zero without effect. You can also turn off "Dynamic CE" and "Contrast Dimming" in the subsettings menu but all this does is disable the user menu Dynamic Contrast control.

Can the service menus be used to turn off the automatic backlight dimming on this set? Or is there any way to turn them off? I bought this set to replace the previous model. I use the for technical purposes, and the backlight dimming is totally unacceptable. Thanks!
