I have one more major piece of equipment that I need to complete the puzzle and would really appreciate some advice and thoughts about a pre pro that would fit well, at a price point of around $2k.. Then - I'm tapped out. (Yes I know there will be more and it will never end..)
I have put together (from owned and purchased equipment), a Panasonic 7000 projector, a CC Paradigm C-690, LR Studio 60 V 5's, a NAD M-25 -7 channel amp, a HSU 15VH, and will be using Paradigm ADP-590 rears.
My challenge - kind of - is to find a Pre/Pro that doesn't break what's left of the bank. I have a line on a NAD T175HD for $2K or a Marantz 7005 for around $1.2K and am having a hard time telling the difference in value. I am a NAD fan and have a separate system with a NAD T785 that has worked well for me in a downstairs system, but really would like to make the right decision on a Pre/Pro based on the equip that I have listed.
Which would you recommend and why, and maybe as importantly is there another Pre/Pro that would suit the system even better around that price point? I may be over thinking things a bit, but this is the final piece of the system and I want to make sure that I've covered as many bases as possible. Input appreciated. Thanks in advance.
