Can I reuse RG6 to distribute audio?

My house was built in 2006 and has RG6 ran to every room. I would like to distribute audio to multiple rooms in the house from a central server in the basement. Is it possible to run audio over my existing RG6?

You can certainly send an audio signal to other rooms from the server - using digital audio over that coax. You'd need an A/V receiver at the other end...
