My parents have recently remodeled and bought a new Samsung LED 3D TV, they also bought a Bose CineMate 1SR sound bar, sub, and receiver all in one box ($1500)....the sound bar may not work out where they wanna mount it and so they thought about ordering the 6 speaker system and need to utilize its wireless feature, they would kind of like to stay around the price they've already spent and are addimate about stickin with Bose, and NOT complete surround...any better suggestions, options, or even just opinions?!?...PLEASE!!

Go to the speaker forum, no Bose talk allowed here. Just trying to save you the abuse you will get. That forum has a no Bose bashing rule, it is not in place here.

And man, honestly I myself am not a Bose man either, so I feel like a forum without a Bose bashing rule is best, cus I would like to know honest opinions on the Bose, then maybe my parents will listen to me when I try to tell them it's waaayyyy overpriced lol

you would be much better off with the package deals from HSU (advertiser here) but they don't have a wireless option.

For me they are just way overpriced, your paying for brand and marketing.

Better options out there for the money......

You are still better off researching in the proper forum (speakers). If you really want to know what ppl think of bose, go to the advance search engine, use title search only option. Use "bose" as your search word and make sure the speakers forum is highlighted from the list to the right. You'll get the most current threads focusing on Bose. No need to start a new one to get the "general" feeling on the company, when there are existing threads already covering the same topic. Within those threads you'll find members offering alternatives to the Bose product.

Once you've done some prelim research and narrowed your focus, if you still don't have the answer start a new thread in speaker forum listing the room, budget, other requirements like wireless etc and ppl will throw out suggestions.
